In New Orleans, culinary tradition has it that the locals enjoy red beans and rice on Mondays and fried fish on Fridays. Likewise, the rest of the week's meals - when properly done - make up a soul food lover's paradise of sultry seafood delights and flavorful southern fried specialties. Thankfully, Minnie's Catfish Corner, the city's newest soul food experience, is ensuring that every day of the week can be filled with the best tasting New Orleans style food in a classy neo-soul atmosphere.
In this spirit, Minnie's Catfish Corner is a welcomed departure from pre-fabricated recipes and bland tasting misrepresentations of real New Orleans style cuisine. In addition to putting that home-grown flair into each savory morsel of New Orleans that it serves up, The Catfish Corner promises a quaint and classy aesthetic that's pleasantly uncharacteristic of most soul food restaurants.

The easy part is finding us. We're conveniently located just minutes from the central business district and uptown at The Corner of Tulane Ave at S. Cortez Street. The hard part is choosing between Miss Minnie's cabbage with pork chops and her meatball with spaghetti. It's an even harder decision when you consider our meatloaf with mashed potatoes and our fried catfish with baked macaroni, green peas and potato salad.
